Culture Mo

Cultured Mo will be an exciting and free event held at Dundalk’s beloved pub Mo Chara as part of Culture Night 2024. This immersive celebration will spotlight three talented visual artists and a renowned musician from Dundalk, thanks to the support of Louth County Council and the Arts Council.

Local artists Colleen Eilís and Aoife Edwards will transform Mo Chara’s outdoor space with a captivating site-specific art installation, featuring an interactive piece which attendees can add to throughout the evening. From 7-9pm, Eilís and Edwards will also host a Pop-Up Print event, offering visitors a hands-on experience in screen printing, allowing them to create and take home a personalized item.

Adding to the creative atmosphere, local tattoo artist and designer Martyna Maselskyte (Mellowface) will set up a Pop-Up Tattoo Studio, offering unique, event-specific flash tattoos for those eager to expand their collections.

The night will crescendo with a live performance by Dundalk’s own Ae Mak, who will take the main stage at 9:30pm. Known for her vibrant and powerful live shows, Ae Mak will deliver her distinct art pop sound, marking the Irish premiere of her latest EP ABC Side Baby.
